More Partner Level Comparison Reports

We have added a new report that allows you to easily show year over year comparisons for a particular race (or city if you hold a race series). It also includes number of repeat participants in each year. Here is a sample:

You can reach this report by clicking on your Partner Dashboard menu item, and then Comparison Report. Then at the bottom of the page, click the “Year-to-Year Comparison”:

And then pick your year-year comparison:

This report will work if you upload previous years if you are moving from another registration provider, but may not be as accurate because we use First and Last Name to do the comparison match to see how many repeat participants there are each year.

  • That is state of the art stuff! More valuable data that the timing company can present to the Race Director to show the value of their marketing.

Question: do you have a strategy on where the market is going with regard to transaction fees? Do you see race registration going to an all fees included model, such as “Registration is $20, which includes all fees,” or staying with the entry fee plus transaction fee model?

I ask because my personal feeling is I like everything packaged together and wonder if your company sees the market that way, or do you see the market shifting that way.

It appears that your company is on the frontline of value added services with online registration.

    Thanks!

    • 78% of races still prefer to have the participant pay the processing fee. We do not think there is a “right” answer – it just depends on the race.
