We’re excited to announce that Jeff Fitch will be joining us for the 2020 Winter Symposium for a premiere session on recruiting sponsors and keeping them happy. Jeff combines experience with sponsors in the endurance industry with an impressive, large-scale background in sales for the PGA TOUR. In other words, he has a lifetime of convincing people to invest in sporting events, and he’s heading to Orlando to share his insights.
A little more background about Jeff:
Jeff Fitch serves as a Sales Manager for the PGA TOUR and the Dominion Energy Charity Classic, the first of three playoff events on the PGA YOUR Champsions. In this role, he is responsible for building community and corporate support for the DECC, which is held every October on the Country Club of Virginia’s James River Course.
He was recognized by the PGA Tour as its Salesman of the Year in 2017. In 2018, he and his peers in Richmond were honored with the Sales Award on PGA TOUR Champions.
Prior to joining the PGA TOUR, Jeff served for 11 years as the Director of Development and Corporate Sponsorship for the Sports Backers. Working alongside his peers at the nationally recognized sports commission, Jeff helped strengthen the sports landscape in the Richmond region by building corporate support for events like Dominion Riverrock, the VCU Health Richmond Marathon and the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k.
