Since the Corral setup page can be long for large events, we have added a floating “Save” button to the bottom when there are more than 5 corrals. We have also added an unsaved changes warning if you have made changes on the page and forget to Save.

RunSignup’s RaceDay team got to experience first hand the backend operations of packet pickup and the life of a timer’s support crew by volunteering at this year’s 45th Kiawah Island Marathon on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The RaceDay team is a team exclusively focused on developing technology for the race day experience with an emphasis on supporting the timer’s role. It is composed of software developers, support, and marketing professionals. With close to 6,200 registrants, the Kiawah Island Marathon was an ideal opportunity to volunteer and see the product the team built in action. Race events using the RaceDay CheckIn app are now able to print personalized participant information to create more efficient processing at packet pickup and on race day. Labels placed on the participant bibs can contain a number of custom fields, such as name, age, event the participant is doing, team name, corral, bib number, and t-shirt size. The RaceDay CheckIn app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and transmits data to the label printer using local WiFi services. RunSignup’s RaceDay CheckIn app is a free product designed for race organizers to deliver an efficient race day check-in experience and overcome typical race operations challenges.
