Smart Prepends

For the Tech and English geeks.  We have a number of areas in our system where we automatically insert the name of the participant or the name of the race into a sentence. The problem is when this results in a double “the the”.  For example “Thank you for registering for the The Big 5K”.

We have written a cool little utility that our developers will now use that looks for these and other grammatical errors and hopefully clean them up.

Little things add up.
