Welcome Alyssa Stone and Bret Wadleigh

Bret Wadleigh and Alyssa Stone are joining the development team at RunSignup this week!

Alyssa is a Comp Sci grad of Rutgers in 2015, and has worked on various Web, PHP and Drupal projects in the NJ and Philadelphia area. She grew up and lives in Moorestown (she graduated high school one year later than Bob’s daughter Mollie). She played soccer in high school and is still very active – see the picture at the right of her wake boarding. She enjoys developing and learning, so she is a perfect fit for RunSignup! Alyssa is engaged to be married in 4 months.

Bret is a 1994 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He lived and worked in California until last year when he and his wife and 2 daughters (4 and 6) moved to Medford to be closer to his wife’s family and enjoy our much lower housing costs than San Francisco :-). He won’t be starting on Monday since they just had a baby son this weekend! He has a wide background of development, but a lot of application development experience in PHP.

The thing we like most about Bret and Alyssa is that they are both excited to be in a productive development environment that is so closely tied with our users. Developers love the feeling of releasing new features that they can see customers use. They will both be working on a number of new features we have planned to help nonprofits with their donations and fundraising even more than we do today.
