We’re welcoming seven interns to our team this summer! Their employment dates vary depending on their school, but they’ll all be working to help customers either via building technology or supporting races and nonprofits.
Elisabeth DellaRova
Elisabeth grew up in South Jersey and has been a runner since middle school, participating in local 5Ks and the Pitman Four-Miler every year. As the Student Director at the Community Outreach and Resources office at her school, she helps coordinate volunteering and community engagement projects for students. In that role and through previous internships, she has worked with a number of local nonprofits and she is looking forward to combining her enthusiasm for nonprofit organizations with a love for writing, content creation, and marketing.
Hunter Miller
Hunter ran cross country throughout middle and high school, and continues to run in his free time. He recently completed his first 10-miler at the Broad Street Run, and is signup up for his first half marathon this fall. Outside of running, he enjoys baking and the whole office is hoping we’ll get to sample his cupcakes!
Jenna Dorsey
Jenna completed her first half marathon in November in Richmond and is looking forward to many more. Besides running, she loves participating in teams sports (soccer, field hockey, and volleyball) and on most weekends she heads outside for a hike or to the beach, lake, or river.
Allison Carignan
Allison has experience planning special events for nonprofits, and has seen endurance events up close as a participant at the Monument Avenue 10K and color runs. In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, traveling, working with animals, and attending music festivals. If you’re in the Richmond area, ask her about the neighborhood Mexican restaurant she’s addicted to!
Brendon Lyra
Brendon’s interest in coding goes beyond the classroom, as he enjoys going to hackathons to improve his coding skills and come up with cool ideas for personal projects. He also has an athletic side, and loves to play soccer and run in his free time.
Philip Quinn
Philip is coming on board as a Software Development intern in the Moorestown, NJ office. He’s a student and an RA at Rowan University where he will be earning his Master’s in Computer Science in May 2020. He’s looking forward to developing quality software that will ultimately end up in the hands of a user. Ultimately, his goal as a developer is to better the world in ways grand or small.
Some of the interesting projects that Philip has worked on include an anonymous user based social media web application, and bike share distribution system based on CaptitalBike Share’s 2018 data to recommend optimal pick-up and drop-off locations to users. Away from the computer, Philip enjoys playing guitar, skateboarding, tennis, and ping-pong. He recently took a road trip to visit amazing landmarks like the Grand Canyon, and is looking to travel more in the future.
Eric Harris
Eric has participated in a local race (Bob just so happens to be the race director), the Scott Coffee Rotary Run. He’s a big fan of Philadelphia sports, and enjoys watching Game of Thrones.
