With spring race season on the horizon, Q1 is the time to learn and prepare. From the January through March we have a series of webinars and certifications for race directors and timers, all focused on technology updates and what you need to know as you head into your season.

If you cannot make a webinar at the specified date and time, we recommend that you register anyway and we will send you a recording and follow-up within 48 hours of the original webinar. Registration for each webinar is separate so you can select the webinar schedule that fits your needs – but don’t worry, we’ll send you reminders along the way if you get overwhelmed by all the choices.

RaceJoy Overview

RaceDay Scoring: Multisport

Timers are invited to attend this advanced RaceDay Scoring training session where we will focus on multirace events, such as triathlons. This session will guide timers on the set up steps in RaceDay Scoring and potential troubleshooting scenarios.

This is ideal for timers who have a basic understanding of RaceDay Scoring.

CERTIFICATIONS FOR TIMERS

These free certifications are for timers only; you must have a timer account set up with RunSignup to attend. All timers are welcome. Each certification program is 3-4 hours long and requires attendance for the full session, as well as participation in certification exercise. In addition to the RunSignup registration linked below, you will complete a second registration on GoToWebinar to access the classroom.

RunSignup Certification
Tuesday, February 8 2022
12:00pm-3:00pm ET (9:00am-12:00pm PT)

This free online training is for Timers who wish to become RunSignup Certified on RunSignup’s registration platform. Timers completing this course will receive RunSignup Certification status and training on RunSignup’s registration and race related marketing tools so that they can increase the value and services they provide to their events.  

Registrants will receive a link to a GoToWebinar meeting that will include initial prep training that attendees can do in advance of the session. Participants will need access to a computer and Internet service. Attendance for the full three hours is required. Attendees will complete lab exercises and answer a questionnaire in order to receive certification. Space is limited so that one-on-one assistance can be provided as needed.

RaceJoy Certification

RunSignup is extending this training as a free service for Timers to help support their ability to offer virtual and on-site events RaceJoy’s mobile race experience. In order to attend, you must have a timer account set up with RunSignup. All timers are welcome. Existing certified timers are encouraged to attend as many new capabilities and changes were implemented. 

This online training is for Timers who wish to become RaceJoy Certified in order to provide RaceJoy to their events. This session will focus on how timers can offer RaceJoy for hybrid races, including on-site timed events with defined courses, race anywhere events, and challenge events. 

Registrants will receive a link to a WebEx meeting that will include initial prep training that attendees can do in advance of the session. Participants will need access to a computer and Internet service. Attendance for the full four hours is required. Attendees will complete map building exercises and answer online polling questions in order to receive certification. One-on-one assistance will be provided as needed. 

Note: Certification is based upon the company not the individual. You can choose to have one person from your organization to become certified and then train the others on your staff.

RaceDay Scoring Certification

This is for Timers Only. In order to attend, you must have a timer account set up with RunSignup. All timers are welcome. 

This online training is for Timers who wish to become RaceDay Certified and trained in RunSignup’s flagship scoring software, RaceDay Scoring. This is basic training on RaceDay Scoring. if you would like advanced training, please set up a session here. Current certified timers who wish to receive a refresher are welcome to attend.

Registrants will receive a link to a GoTo Webinar meeting that will include initial prep training that attendees can do in advance of the session. Participants will need access to a computer and Internet service. Attendance for the full 4 hours is required. Attendees will complete lab exercises and answer online polling questions in order to receive certification. One-on-one assistance will be provided as needed. 

Note: Certification is based upon the company not the individual. You can choose to have one person from your organization to become certified and then train the others on your staff.
