The dates are confirmed! The next two RunSignup educational Symposiums for race timers, race directors, and nonprofits will be held:
- Summer 2020: July 27-29, Philadelphia PA
- Winter 2021: January 25-26, Orlando FL
Both events will offer industry professionals an opportunity to invest in their education and connect with their peers, with three intersecting tracks focused on RunSignup tools for race directors, the RaceDay Technology Suite for timers, and GiveSignup for nonprofit
Session topics will include marketing trends, business strategies, technology for RaceDay and methods to raise more with GiveSignup. Additionally, timers at RunSignup Symposiums can opt to be certified in the RaceDay Technology Suite, including RaceDay Scoring and RaceJoy, the GPS-based runner tracking app.
RunSignup Founder and CEO Bob Bickel said, “In the last seven years, the demand for industry education in general, and our Symposiums specifically, has increased exponentially. Race organizers are looking at technology as a tool to help them stay competitive, grow their events, expand their book of business, and create a lasting impression on their supporters. We are moving to a biannual model for our Symposiums to provide the industry with more opportunities to access hands-on training, advanced sessions, and best practices based on current market trends.”
