We welcome Neveo Harrison to the GiveSignup|RunSignup development team! Neveo was raised in Colorado Springs and made his way to the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science and played basketball. From there he built his career at companies like Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft and a few early start-ups. He became heavily involved in the PHP open source community where he contributed to version 5.2 which had 200+ million downloads worldwide. He also led many talks and organized PHP meetups in New York City.
Neveo was introduced to the world of endurance sports by his wife. Since then he has completed in 4 marathons, 5 Ironman’s and many other events including the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon held in Norway. The entire Harrison family including 2 children are outdoor and sports oriented. When they are not training for a race, you can find them coaching the kids on the lacrosse field, basketball court or on a mountain skiing and snowboarding.
