Founder’s Corner – Ramblings on What, Why, and How We do Things at RunSignup

I’m starting up this series of blog posts to share the reason behind what, why and how we do things at our company. As we are growing, we have more and more new employees and more and more new customers. A couple of days ago I found myself trying to explain a bunch of things to new people and there is just too much history and details about what we do and why we do it.

Trying to map out the puzzle pieces of growing a company is an enormously fun challenge for our team. I’ve learned so much over the years from so many amazing people I’ve had the chance to work with. I’ll try to pass along the lessons I’ve learned as they are being applied at RunSignup. I also like to write things down – I’ve written a lot of the blogs over the years, especially the company oriented ones. I’m not a very good writer, but it helps me think things thru more completely.

Here is a list of topics I plan on writing about (this list will change, and let me know if you have ideas for topics at bob.bickel at runsignup.com). As I write them over the coming months, I will add the links here and this will become an index page…
