RunSignUp Releases New Race Registration User Interface
Fast, Modern and Easy to Use Race Registration Helps Runners and Race Directors
Moorestown, NJ – March 9, 2012 – RunSignUp, the leading innovator of online tools for Races and Running Clubs, today announced the availability of a new user interface for online race sign up. The interface continues the string of new technology the company is introducing to make online registration simpler and easier to use.
The new User Interface focused on several key areas:
- Ease of Use – we looked at each step and each piece of information collected from the user to make sure it is understandable and clear.
- Modern – we came up with a new, clean design that incorporated new Google Fonts to give our race directors a fresh look to make their races stand out and keep their runners focused on signing up.
This is a quick video introducing the user interface:
In another video (http://runsignup.blog/2012/04/17/runsignup-vs-active-approach/), the process of signing up for a race on RunSignUp and Active.com is shown in a side by side comparison. This demonstrates how race directors can save runners from ad fatigue, making their races easier to find on the web with a faster sign up process with fewer errors and lower cost.
RunSignUp users are quire happy with the improvements. For example, Brandon Damusis, a web designer and race director in Michigan stated “These are some impressive enhancements, you guys re-define the term ‘best practices’.” Additionally, Tom Thomasson of TNT Event Management said “I can’t say enough good things about RunSignUp. I use it exclusively at this point. I have a few Active stragglers that will be switching over this year. Its been a great partnership.”
