Fault Tolerance

redundancyWe had a problem with one of our load balancers in the middle of the night from a bit after midnight until about 1AM.  Two cool things:

1. No users noticed it since there are at least two in service at any time.

2. Our monitoring software was able to detect it and fix it automatically.

So our efforts last year to really improve our scalability and fault tolerance have paid off.
