You can now add Referral Codes to Registrations. This happens when you get called up by a participant who says they referred a friend (although the friend did not click on the referral link so the system would automatically catch it) and you still want to give them credit for it.
Go to the Promotion -> Referral Tracking -> Manage Codes page on the Race Dashboard and update the Report Type to Referred Registrations.
Click on the top drop down menu and select “Referred Registrations”. THis will change the default page to look like below.
Clicking on the Green “Manually Add Referred Registration” will bring up the pop-up below that will allow you to enter the Registration ID # and the Referral Code. The Registration ID is for the participant who signed up who did not get tied to the Referrer. The Referral Code is the code (looks something like 0KSbW7xG) is the referrer you want to give credit to for that registration. You can find the RegistrationID in the Participants Report and the Referral Code on the “Manage Codes” page.
Hi, I tried this, but there is no “Manually Add Referral Registration” button. Where is it suppose to be? I went to Promotion ->Referral tracking -> Manage Codes but the only button on the bottom is “Add a Referral Code” and when you chose that, a pop up with the fields “Referral Description” and “Referral Email” appears.
