Symposium Presenters
The Tuesday Symposium sessions are dual-track: half the presentations
are led by RunSignUp employees and focused on feature-based tutorial; the other half are led by customers and endurance industry
professionals, and offer race education in a broader context. We’ll be updating this in the leadup to July…first up, an introduction to two of our customer presenters.
Endurance Industry Presenters
Presenter: Erik Young
Sour Fish Events, CEO
Erik co-founded Sour Fish Events (formerly Riff Raff Productions)
with his wife Courtney in 2012, focusing primarily on 5K trail runs. Sour Fish has a small team of 5 that plan and execute each event they host – including the Hard Cider Run, The Great Pumpkin Run, and The Cheddar Challenge – on farms and in towns across the country. At the Symposium, Erik will focus on how they use referrals and social media marketing strategies to increase registrations.
Presenters: Tamara Conan (National Director), Brooke Magni (HKRS Manager), Katie Sullivan (HKRS RunSignUp Database Manager)
Healthy Kids Running Series
The Healthy Kids Running Series hosted over 23,000 runners nationally in 2016 and manage over 150+ race coordinators and their events across the country. They will discuss how they use their RunSignUp database to impact their families and the community coordinators nationally.
