Back in 2015, we were lucky enough to meet filmmaker Jon Dunham at the
Road Runners Club of America Convention, where he introduced us to the documentary that he was producing on the history of the Boston Marathon. As a team, we were inspired by his project and became an Official Sponsor for the film, making a contribution as a company and integrating a donation option for our races into our race dashboard.
Two years later, we are excited to see what Dunham and his team have created! The film, narrated by Matt Damon and scored by the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, makes it’s world premier in Boston on 4/15, and will be followed by an opportunity for the broader running community to view it in theaters on Wednesday, April 19th. This one-day showing is available around the country – grab your running buddies, running club, or fellow race directors and see a showing together!
