Moorestown, NJ – Registration is now open for the Fifth Annual RunSignUp Race Director/Timer Symposium to be held in Philadelphia July 16th-18th. The 2017 Symposium brought together 200+ race directors, timers, and industry professionals from 35 states (and Bermuda); the 2018 event will build on that tradition with an emphasis on industry collaboration and education. Highlights of the three-day agenda include:
- Opening Reception at the Mutter Museum (Monday, July 16th)
- Educational sessions led by industry experts (Tuesday, July 17th)
- Beginner RunSignUp Tutorials (Tuesday, July 17th)
- Advanced RunSignUp Tutorials (Tuesday, July 17th)
- Networking Happy Hour (Tuesday, July 17th)
- Optional morning group run (Tuesday, July 17th)
- Timing software and hardware sessions (Wednesday, July 18th)
- One-on-one consultations with RunSignUp team members (throughout)
For the third year, the Symposium will be returning to the Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation). The focus of the Symposium is peer-to-peer education, training, and networking instead of products; there are no sponsors or expo spaces available. While the dual track format does offer training sessions for the RunSignUp system, the Symposium is not limited to RunSignUp users and presenters are encouraged to share experiences that are relevant to all event professionals. In addition to choosing the sessions they take part in, attendees can elect to participate in all 3 days of the Symposium or select only the days that are most applicable to their business.
Early bird registration ranges from $49 for only the Wednesday Timer Day to $99 for the full symposium. Registration prices increases on May 1, 2018; registration will close when capacity has been reached for the Science History Institute.
