RunSignUp Symposium: What is Timer Day?

As we creep up on the  2018 RunSignUp Symposium, one questions we’ve heard is this:

What exactly IS Timer Day?

In contrast to Tuesday’s mixed educational sessions that contain content for both race directors and timers, Timer Day (Wednesday, July 18th) is an interactive education and networking opportunity specifically for the timers in attendance. Timer Day is flexible – attendees can elect to stop in for as many discussions or demos as they choose…or spend all their time with a single provider.

Timer Day kicks off with a morning focused on timing software – select your software, and settle in for a tutorial on updates and integrations led by software developers or expert users. Software sessions are interactive and encourage questions!

After lunch, things get a little more casual and hands-on. The afternoon is dedicated to timing hardware. Feel free to move around the conference venue at your own leisure to talk with your current hardware vendor as well as check out any new products you might be interested in. Timer Day sessions will wrap up by 3:00pm for attendees looking to book a flight out that afternoon.

Timing software and hardware attendees with an interest in attending should reach out Megan Cary at Megan@runsignup.com. This is not an expo, and all attendees are expected to provide an interactive experience directed by the interest of attendees.
