Moorestown, NJ – Registration is now open for the 2019 RunSignup Symposium, to be held in Philadelphia July 15th-17th. The annual conference brings together 200+ race directors, timers, and industry professionals from across the country in a unique industry event that emphasizes collaborative education, networking, and technology.
The core of the Symposium is unchanged, with an opening reception kicking off two straight days of sessions and socializing. However, in 2019 Timer Day (on Wednesday) is getting a facelift, transforming into a full day focused on RaceDay technology. In addition to programming around major timing software and hardware products, Timer Day will include options for timers to be RaceDay Certified for RunSignup’s RaceDay Suite of tools. For the 240+ timers who have completed their RaceDay certification, advanced sessions in RaceDay Scoring and additional RaceDay tools will be available.
Highlights of the Symposium Agenda Include:
- Opening reception and a networking happy hour
- Peer education with industry experts for race directors and timers
- Multi-level training sessions on RunSignup technology for race directors and timers
- An optional morning run to the Rocky Steps
- A multi-track Timer Day
- One-on-one consultations with RunSignup team members
After selling out in 2018, the 2019 edition moves to a new venue in the center of Philadelphia, the Marriott Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown (converting to The Notary, an Autograph Collection hotel, this summer). Located directly across from Philadelphia City Hall and steps from the local train station, the freshly renovated hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The RunSignup Symposium focuses on peer-to peer-education, technology training, and networking. Attendees can elect to participate in all three days of the Symposium or select only the days that are most applicable to their business. Early bird registration ranges from $79 for a single day of attendance to $119 for the full range of activities. For registration and details, visit: https://runsignup.com/symposium
