We are excited to welcome Chris May to the RunSignup and RaceDay team! He is joining our customer support team and will be helping to expand our support team bandwidth.
Chris grew up on a family-owned golf course and campground, where he worked for most of his life and really enjoyed the production aspect of events. After college, Chris lived in Chicago and started his career in the technology sector, working as a Business Analyst for various companies. From there, an Event Production/Timer position was a perfect fit in his hometown of Rochester, NY, and really introduced Chris to the running scene. Fun fact, Chris worked at YellowJacket Racing, like Matt Avery, just not at the same time. Chris used RunSignup, RaceDay Scoring, and RaceJoy extensively, so it only made sense to make the move to a support position at RunSignUp.
Chris is a father to an awesome, energetic, curious little boy named Myles. Along with Myles, Chris and his girlfriend have two dogs, a Great Pyrenese named Luna, and a Bernese Mountain Dog/Lab mix named Waylon. They spend as much time as possible outside, camping, hiking, kayaking, you name it. A huge fan of all things western NY, Chris is an avid Buffalo Bills and any beer from The Genesee Brew House.
