In this role, you will be expected to perform clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with incoming customer finance support questions
- Review sometimes complicated payment reconciliation questions from customers and provide detailed explanations
- Review new customer applications for payment accounts in accordance with banking regulations
- Review customer chargebacks and provide documentation and recordkeeping to properly document or dispute as necessary
- Ensure financial records are kept up to date and properly documented
- Assist with other accounting related tasks
Qualifications
The following are required:
- 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or Bookkeeper OR a recent graduate in a related field
- The ability to complete tasks efficiently and in a high volume environment
- The ability to quickly learn and understand new technology
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
The following are preferred:
- Previous experience in an account management role
- Previous experience with evaluating customer creditworthiness
- Previous experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) accounting environment
