Club Sneak Peek

We are in development on the new Club site integration into RunSignUp.  We are hoping to release this new capability in the beginning of May in time for the Road Runners Club of America Annual Meeting.

Today, RunClubSignUp is a separate service.  There are a number of problems with this.  The biggest is that as we make enhancements in RunSignUp, the Club site does not benefit.  Also runners have to have logins on the two systems.

Mobile
With the new integration, Club users will get a huge upgrade in functionality with a far more modern User Interface offering better usability for Club Officers and members.  We are also introducing “Responsive Design” to our system – that will provide an even better mobile experience for runners.  Today almost 30% of our visitors are coming from mobile devices, so this is critical.

Here are some of the cool benefits:

• Better financial reporting
• Multiple modes of membership – months, fiscal years, automatic pro-rating, custom date ranges
• Ability to combine race signup and club signup.  This is useful for club races where you want to encourage runners to also sign up for the club.  We will give you optional promotional capabilities with this like price discounts and coupons.
• Better membership management tools.  Including offering expiring members discounts on races.

Here is a sneak peek vide of the new UI.  It is interesting for race directors as well because you can see what will be coming with the new wizard and the new response layout for mobile devices – very cutting edge!
