March Newsletter

First GivingFundraising Partnerships
We are very happy to welcome our new fundraising partner FirstGiving! Race Directors can now choose to replace the RunSignUp donation and fundraising capability with FirstGiving. We like to think of ourselves as the best race management system available, and we want to offer race director access to the leading charity and fundraising systems in the market.

Result Notifications 2.0
Over the past several weeks we have been improving the TXT and Email Notifications capability of our results engine. These improvements make it possible for most races to use RunSignUp Results and Notifications to give runners near real-time result notifications. These services are free to races using RunSignUp for registration, but timers may charge a service fee. Make sure you coordinate closely with your timer to enable this wonderful capability for your race. Your runners will love it!

RunSignUp in the Press
CIO Magazine recently had an article about large scale race registration systems in use at Active.com, RunSignUp and NYRR. It is worth a read.

RunSignUp User ConferenceRunSignUp User Conference
Sign Up now for the first annual RunSignUp User Conference will take place on July 18-19. The Welcome Reception is at the historic Vesper Boat Club on Friday evening, and then a full day of education and sharing for race directors, timers, club officers and running store owners on Saturday.
