This weekend we had more than 200 people use RaceJoy at the Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race during their 10K and 5K events. With 60 phones tracked spectators made use of RaceJoy’s live phone tracking and every mile pace alerts, monitoring participants real time as they completed the race.

This is Pennsylvania’s largest 10K and was established by and named after the Pittsburgh mayor who is accredited with revitalizing Pittsburgh economy in the 70s and 80s. (Learn more here) The event enabled RaceJoy from their RunSignUp dashboard and did a great job promoting the technology to participants with their new RunSignUp web page.

We tracked runners as they ran by Carnegie Mellon – James Harris’, the creator and founder behind RaceJoy, alma mater and where he achieved the foundation of education he applies today with RaceJoy!
