We are happy to introduce the next key area of our work on CRM – Promotions. While the CRM Participant Hub, Notes and Search are very useful, the real key to a great CRM is being able to DO something. We call these Promotions. Eventually you will be able to implement a wide variety of Promotions to a wide variety of your constituents – participants, volunteers, donors, fundraisers, sponsors, club members, etc.
Today, we are introducing a Coupon Promotion. This leads you through a quick series of steps to send a coupon promotion. You can create a new coupon or use one you created in the Coupons section of RunSignUp.
On the next step, you pick your target list:
And the email is automatically formatted for you. The email is quick and simple and includes the link that sets the coupon automatically. Of course, you can edit the email more.

In the future, we will be adding functionality in several areas:
- Extending promotions to multiple channels, like doing a banner ad on the race website and creating a Facebook Custom Audience
- Adding new types of promotions like Facebook ads or Reserved Entries or Loyalty Rewards.

And since the CRM is based on the integrated RunSignUp database, you also get free Analytics on your promotions to understand what works best, and free Email for all of your CRM Promotions.
