RunSignUp Awards 2018 Community Grant

RunSignUp, the leading technology provider for races, has announced the awardees of the 2018 RunSignUp Community Grant Program. The Community Grant program is a giving program began in 2016 to provide a financial contribution to endurance-related nonprofit organizations. In 2018, the organization received 162 highly deserving charitable organizations. A team at RunSignUp narrowed the field to 10 finalists; the final award decision was made by the RunSignUp Customer Advisory Board, a group of RunSignUp customers who have agreed to provide feedback and guidance to the company. The 2018 Community Grant Awardees are:

$4,000: Band of Runners
$2,000: Reason to Run
$2,000: Running for Those Who Can’t
$1,000: Runnin’ for Rhett
$1,000: Catapult

As an industry, endurance events fundraise for a myriad of causes and charities through races, fun runs, walks, bike rides, and more. The RunSignUp Community Grant Program is an annual program focused on giving back to the industry that gives so much by recognizing organizations that support runners and other endurance athletes – I.E., those that fund youth running programs, provide training funds, purchase needed attire and equipment for athletes, or create endurance programs to help people build better lives. Applications for the 2019 award will be released in Spring 2019, and will be announced via the RunSignUp blog.
